2026年3月31日

,

The West–East Gas Pipeline is a natural gas transmission pipeline system spanning from western to eastern China. Construction began in 2002, and the system consists of Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, and Line 4, with a total length exceeding 20,000 kilometers [3] [5]. The project primarily draws gas from the Tarim Oilfield in Xinjiang as its main supply source. Through the interconnection of multiple lines, it has formed a gas supply pattern characterized by “west-to-east gas transmission, north-to-south gas transmission, and Sichuan gas sent eastward,” covering 30 provinces and regions across China as well as Hong Kong.
